GIBELLER GROUP SUSTAINABILITY DAY | Sustainable Future Presentation
Last Thursday, June 2, Rubén Muedra participated as a speaker at the First Sustainability Day organized by Grupo Gibeller.
A day to discuss and exchange ideas with all professional groups involved in the construction of spaces, to glimpse how will be the sustainable housing of the future and what steps we must take to go in the right direction.
Society in general is becoming increasingly aware of the importance of living sustainably. In other words, living while enjoying the present without mortgaging the future of those who will come after us.
Fortunately, since the UN established the Sustainable Development Goals for the 2030 agenda, we have been able to understand the concept of “sustainability” in all its complexity. And the fact is that it is not only about being sustainable with the environment, but also with people and the cultural richness of our societies.
Aligned with our Architecture Studio, Gibeller Group understands sustainability as a fundamental part of our corporate social responsibility.
Several media outlets echoed the Jornadas Sostenibles, as Valencia Plaza mentions:
“The day, in addition to publicizing some of the most sustainable products on the market in relation to architecture and construction, featured three exceptional speakers: Marc Agliata, specialist in sustainability management; Diego Castaño Belda, the first architect in Alicante winner of the distinction of ‘3 Green Leaves’ certified by GBCe; and Rubén Muedra, winner of the Award for Excellence in Sustainable Architectural Design at the BUILD Sustainable Building Awards.”
In the same vein the digital newspaper Información described the magnificent event:
“The meeting was attended by Marc Agliata, specialist in sustainability management; Diego Castaño Belda, the first architect in Alicante winner of the 3 Green Leaves distinction certified by GBCe; and Rubén Muedra, awarded with the Award for Excellence in Sustainable Architectural Design at the BUILD Sustainable Building Awards.”
For our part, we thank Grupo Gibeller for the invitation as speakers at the Sustainability Conference. On the other hand, we also take this opportunity to congratulate the entire Gibeller Group team, led by Mayte Torregrosa and José Luis Torregrosa for the magnificent event they developed.
