AWARD
Vertical House, a single-family home by the studio in Algemesí, is presented and recognised at the Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2024, the international programme that distinguishes high-end products and services.
The Luxury Lifestyle Awards, based in New York, assess architecture and design projects worldwide each year. In its 2024 edition, the studio presents Vertical House within the field of architecture, continuing a relationship with the programme that already included recognition as Best Luxury Architect and Interior Design Studio in Spain (2020) and a place in the TOP 100 Architects & Designers (2022).
Vertical House rises from two white-concrete prismatic volumes of different size and height, displaced to follow the direction of the plot. Its façade planes, closed along the longitudinal direction, open through vertical incisions that filter light and preserve privacy. A home that sums up the way of designing of the studio: essentiality, constructive rigour and a reading of place.
The project, located in Algemesí (Valencia), has had wide international coverage in specialised architecture media, and its presence at the Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2024 reinforces the path of the studio in contemporary residential architecture.
