Golf House
Three storeys facing the green.
Golf House is projected at Calle Cotoliu 20, in the Torre en Conill urbanisation in Bétera (Valencia), on a plot in direct contact with the golf course. The proposal seeks a clear response to the condition of the site: a contemporary home organised on three storeys that coexist with the landscape without saturating it.
The programme is distributed with precise hierarchy. The basement gathers the more intimate life — gym, sauna, cinema and dressing room — and resolves the technical storage below the garden level. The ground floor opens out to the porch, the swimming pool and the solarium on a single continuous horizontal plane, with a double-height living room as the central piece. On the first floor, bedrooms retreat, organised around a distributor that resolves the intimacy of the programme.
Materiality builds the atmosphere. Schuco aluminium frames in chocolate RAL, corten steel surrounds, travertine stone cladding and tempered glass balustrades shape a sober palette that relates to the brick of the surrounding residential fabric. The choice of colour is not neutral: it is the decision that stitches interior and exterior together.
The golf landscape does not appear as a distant view, but as an active piece of the composition. Large glazed surfaces, the first-floor solarium and the deep porches frame that green and incorporate it into the daily rhythm of the house. Mediterranean light enters modulated by eaves, integrated insect screens and orientable wooden shutters.
Golf House does not stand as an object closed upon itself. Its value lies in organising the house in three clear storeys, letting the golf course enter through every façade and building an architecture where landscape, matter and domestic life are thought together.
