The plan clearly separates day and night areas. The entrance and the kitchen-living space sit in an elongated piece that faces the garden; the bedrooms occupy a parallel strip on the more protected façade. Between them, a corridor that also functions as library and services axis.

What matters is the mediation with the outside. The pool is not offered as an object, but as a natural extension of the main piece. The distance between living room and water is short. The distance between kitchen and outdoor table, too. The cooking of summer happens between these two places.

The envelope is worked with passive criteria. South orientation in the day zones, openings protected by eaves, cross-ventilation in every bedroom. The house’s consumption is decided in the plan and not in the appliances.
