The new Bulthaup showroom in Valencia is located at the intersection of Gran Vía Marqués del Turia and the old Turia riverbed, on the first floor of the building known as Torre Valencia, with a surface area of 280 m2 for study and exhibition. 

 In the heart of Valencia’s Ensanche district, with the presence of a significant amount of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, the premises are open to the public through a completely glazed enclosure, from floor to ceiling, and along its entire facade. This turns the 100m2 of the premises into a large showcase bathed in natural light from the Gran Vía. There is also a double height, which houses the staircase and, converted into a large shaft of light, communicates with the 180m2 of exhibition space in the basement. 

In the interior, in addition to glass and light as essential materials, the extra-matt oak wood with veined and exposed knots provides the constructive sincerity of the Bulthaup product. Together with vertical cladding lacquered in matte white and minimalist ceilings, also in white, they add light and spaciousness to the two-floor space. 

While natural lighting is important, artificial lighting is even more important to show off the full potential of the Bulthaup products on display. For this purpose, ArkosLight’s product ArkosLight provides additional value with its performance and design.  

Depending on the use, surface-mounted luminaires, pendant luminaires, spotlights and wall lights are combined. The open entrance hall and the double height are illuminated by a set of Spin model suspended luminaires in black, creating a light and elegant grid made up of 12 suspended units. Also in suspension, and as a singular large-format luminaire, two units of the Salt luminaire in black and gold interior appear above the meeting table. 

In the case of general and ambient lighting in the showroom, we find large-format surface-mounted luminaires in white, such as the Drum, and in wall sconces, as indirect lighting, the Flap model.  

Finally, the specific lighting of the kitchens on display is vital, where rails with white projectors of the Thor (higher power) and Zen Tube Track models are used, providing design and uniqueness, while giving personality to the illuminated product. 

In short, the 280 m2 exhibition combines design, quality, innovation and functionality, and is on a par with the Bulthaup product itself.
